laughing, teasing, joking with a couple of my faves (art students at uk), told them:
"alternately one could call it a witches broom!"
made it through the day with a minimum of stress and no drama.
no flyers, no online adds, no business cards, no psa's. just word of mouth and curiosity ... no explaining anything to anyone.
people either returned because they wanted to, or came in out of curiosity.
had the same numbers as last time, but not all the same people.
at least eight people who were in on the first run, came back to get the second in the set.
that felt great. really good ... they had each given consideration to placement in relation to the first design and were actively involved in how everything is going to go together in the end.
some people joined up for the first time, purchasing both pictograms.
one girl requested two february hearts above her bikini line.
received three phone calls. told each one: "uh yeh, it's a number 13 for thirteen dollars."
... too lazy to make a trip in to see what it is, then you're not interested. it's that simple. really.
no stress on perfectionism, concentrated on the mark as the gesture and felt quite good at the end of the day.
